Michal Dec is an architectural photographer based in London. In his work, Michal focuses mostly on brutalist mid-century buildings, capturing the ambiguous beauty of concrete.
The main object of Michal’s affection is Barbican Estate in London but he hugely admires the brutalist architecture across Europe. His artworks consist of Le Corbusier’s communal estates in Marseille and Berlin, Torres Blancas in Madrid and Le Choux de Creteil in Paris.
Michal’s photography was recognised by Barbican Centre and featured on the cover of the Barbican Guide.
The biggest and most varied selection of his work can be seen on Instagram alongside the limited edition of prints available through his website.
